The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach (OVPPSO) is committed to helping Georgia and UGA “compete in a global economy” by facilitating UGA faculty, staff, and student involvement in meaningful international outreach and service-learning programs, particularly in developing countries.

The goal of the International Expertise Database is to serve as a clearinghouse for information about the breadth and depth of international expertise and interests among UGA’s faculty and staff. The specific objectives of the Database are:

  • To facilitate networking and collaboration among UGA faculty, staff, and students with external partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
  • To unite and engage UGA faculty, staff, and students with international interests and expertise.
  • To connect external audiences seeking international experts to UGA faculty and staff with expertise in international development work.
  • To help Georgia and UGA deepen ties with other nations.
